Jean-Christophe Napoléon Bonaparte (b.1986) and Olympia von und zu Arco-Zinneberg (b.1988) contracted their civil marriage at the city hall of Neuilly-sur-Seine on Thursday, 17 October. On Friday, 18 October, a dinner and ball in celebration of the couple’s union was held in the evening at the Château de Fontainebleau.
On the day of the religious wedding, the bridegroom, Prince Jean-Christophe, arrived on the arm of his mother, H.R.H. Princess Béatrice of Bourbon-Two Sicilies. The bride entered the Cathedral on the arm of her father, Count Riprand von und zu Arco-Zinneberg. Countess Olympia wore a gown designed by Oscar de la Renta; her headpiece was a bandeau diadem that was converted from a necklace worn by her paternal aunt H.I.&R.H.
